House of Kai is a design house and Kids brand founded by Shreya Naik Kapoor aka Kai's Mumma. Having heard from everyone how motherhood makes you loose yourself on the contrary it made her realize her true calling was to make cool and useful products for kids and parents, Therefore the company was aptly named after her son Kai.

About Us

House of Kai is a lifestyle brand created by my parents Shreya and Vivaan while riding the rollercoaster called parenthood. Kai in Hawaiian culture means the ocean, it also happens to be my name if you haven’t already guessed.

My mom Shreya is a serial entrepreneur, DIY queen and a drummer. Having heard from everyone how motherhood makes you loose yourself - on the contrary - for her has made her break the conventions of being a mom and rediscover her creativity. 

My drummer dad Vivaan juggles drumsticks onstage just as well as he juggles my diapers burps and bottles offstage. He also handles the content side of things so you guys have a bunch of fun stuff to read, kind of like what your’e doing right now!

Since I arrived, I have taken over the house and I’m sure my mom and dad love me for that! So when it came to naming this venture it seemed only fitting to call it House of Kai
